I have for years and years used my clothes dryer plug in for kiln(s). I puta clothes dryer plug on the kiln(s) and set them up side by side and unplug the dryer to fire the kiln. At one time I had four kilns and a dryer and only one plug in. The drill was load a kiln, start it and while it was firing load the next and as soon as the first cuts out, plug in the second and start loading the third while the first is coolong and the second is firing and then when the sedond cuts out, plug in the third and start it and while #3 is firing, #2 and #1 are cooling and I am loading # 4. And when ever I did not have a full kiln load ready, I would dry some clothes. BUT YOU MUST DO THIS WITH ONLY ONE RECEPTACLE SO NO MISTAKES CAN BE MADE BY TRYING TO FIRE TWO AT ONCE. This gives you more options for kilns and kiln capacity I feel. I also love my little Duncan "artist" which is a 110v. and we use it for single item rush orders, small loads of reds, decals gold, lustre.
