Recently I saw at a craft show, a lady who painted on her clay with a thickened slip type product that made raised designs. She outlined flowers and leaves with this raised slip, fired her clay to bisque and then painted colors and eventually glazed over the top. It sort of reminded me of Moorcroft Pottery from England. I would love to give this a try but what does one add to their slip to keep it raised up as it dries?? Anyone got any info on this??
