Hi. I have an opportunity to buy a brand new paragaon kiln from a friend for a very good price. I want to fire decals on small porcelain or ceramic blanks which I can then bead around. I've spent a fortune buying these little cameo stones with pretty decals & I'd like to learn to make them myself. I've found a source for the ceramic blanks. This lovely site has the decals. All I need is the knowhow. The kiln was advertised as a kiln for artclay. Does anyone know if it would be suitable for what I want? Its a small kiln with a max of 2000 degrees farenheit. Finally, does anyone know where I can find an easy to understand beginners guide to do this? I know theres cones involved...thats all I know.
