Firing Large Pie Plate Question?

I will be firing some large pie plates, 12-inches. Should I stilt them or put them on posts in the greenware firing? Should I also put stilts on posts during the glaze firing so air can circulate under them? I don't want them to warp. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Barb
